Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Which of you putter designs works best for a particular putting style? Example: "I'm interested in a side saddle putter. Which is best for that?
A: All of my designs have the same balance and feel and work well for all putting styles. The location of the center shafting in each design complements the brass weighting (black rounds) for the same balance and feel of the putters. I recommend to make your choice based on the design style you like best or by head weight.
Q: What are your head weights? Can you make mine heavier / lighter?
A: Force Focus: 390 grams 2 Ball: 450 grams Sight Lines: 420 grams Backbone: 480 grams
These are fixed head weights in my designs and cannot be added to or subtracted from.
Q. I'm 5' 10". Can you recommend a shaft length for me?
A: Only for my Traditional putters do I offer a chart for recommended height to shaft length. Belly, Long, and Side Saddle shaft lengths are more of a personal preference and I don't make set recommendations for them other than showing in my pictures a 6' tall golfer holding my standard lengths. This should give you an idea of a shaft length that would be good for you. I also have on each of my order pages for Belly, Long, and Side Saddle a recommended easy way to measure at home for each putter style.
Q: I would like a Long / Side Saddle putter with a more upright shaft lie than 11(79)*. Can you make me one that way?
A; No. I know USGA rules matter to some and others they don't. But I like all of my putter to conform to the rules. The USGA rules state under Appendix II 1. Clubs, that the minimum legal putter lie is 10(80)*. And that the putter cannot be held at address at less than that same lie. So using 11(79)* as our most upright lie stays within the rules and gives you a 1* forgiveness in your stance at ball address.
Q: I see you only ship within the USA. Can you give me a price to ship me one to my country?
A: Sorry, but my cost to use UPS Worldwide is just too expensive to offer. On average $150 plus customs fees, paper work fees, tariff fees, ect. Larger companies get a bulk discount on their out of USA shipping, and that is something I do not get as a small company. USPS can be cheaper, but they have a length maximum on their packaging, and my shipping boxes exceeded that so US Post Office is not an option.
Q; I really like your putters and I am interested in selling in my shop/area. Can you sell at a bulk discount?
A: I already offer my putters at the lowest price I can. There's no mark up percentage at Holloway's Golf. My putter prices are based on my cost to manufacture the heads at my machine shop, plus the cost of materials, shaft, grip and headcover. Simply put we have "no extra meat on the bone" for us to offer bulk discounts to others for reselling.

Q: I really like the Winn 1PC grip. Can I get that one put on my Long / Side Saddle putter?
A: No. I do not recommend it. These grips are made specifically for Counter Balanced putter use. They are 21" long. For Long and Side Saddle putters the lower grip of the Winn 2PC is significantly lower on the shaft. If you use a Winn 1PC grip on a Long or Side Saddle putter your hand would end up on the bare shaft instead of grip.
Q: I placed an order but have not received any e-mails from Paypal and/or from Holloway's Golf about my order.
A. After you place an order you should receive a receipt e-mail from Paypal shortly after you placed your order, You will also get two e-mails from Holloway's Golf sent from therod440@aol.com. Within 24 hours you will get your first e-mail from Holloway's Golf acknowledging your order and when it will be assembled and date ready to ship by. On the day your putter ships out UPS you will get another e-mail with your UPS tracking # and estimated delivery time for your putter.
If you are not receiving these e-mails please check the following:
1. The e-mail address you have listed on your Paypal account is the same one you are expecting to receive e-mails from. I have had e-mails from people wondering about their order from a different address than they have listed on Paypal. I can only send to what is listed on Paypal as your contact.
2. Sometimes these e-mails can mistakenly end up in your spam or trash folder. Check these folders for your e-mails from Paypal & Holloway's Golf.
3. Some e-mail providers give block options to not receive certain types of e-mail at all. Make sure your settings aren't preventing these e-mails from reaching you.
